James Willett is an Australian sports shooter. He competed in the men's double trap event at the 2016 Summer Olympics where he shot an Olympic record of 140/150 and finished in 5th place after narrowly missing out on a medal after a sudden death shoot off. He then competed in the men's trap event and also the Trap Mixed team’s event with Laetisha Scanlan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He now has his sights firmly set on Paris 2024.
