Corowa shooters excel

Over 150 students from eight different schools in North East Victoria participated in a gun meet recently.

Corowa High School sent 14 students from years 7 to 10 to the day where they were divided into A Grade and B Grade to perform on the day. Corowa’s A Grade group consisting of James Willett, Braden Mitchell, Logan Wemyss and Daniel Carlisle came second overall on the day. Corowa High School student Daniel Thomas received first in A Grade from a possible 164 – 200 shots.

Shooting teacher Bryan Adamson said he was proud of the students achievements and interest in the sport.
